Triple-folding devices were definitely a trend atMWC 2025this week.

But triple foldables seemed more dominant this year than before, and theres likely one big reason for that.

Not coincidentally, it was the only triple-folding equipment I saw at MWC that I could actually try myself.

There’s a “no touching” sign on the box, too.

The odd ones out

There were more triple foldables hovering around the periphery of MWC too.

A more left-of-field take on the concept is theAurzen Zipfolding projector.

This isn’t a smart equipment, not offering a touch-screen display anywhere on its body.

My colleague Tom Pritchard got to try the Zip out, and was quite impressed.
