Keeping the surfing app up to date is critical to protecting your privacy, security, and anonymity online.

Users on Android have been unable to update their net surf tool if it was downloaded via F-Droid.

The main difference comes down to privacy vs anonymity VPNs don’t grant total anonymity.

Anonymity also relies on VPN providers not tracking you through IP and/or usage logging.
