But how do the brand’s memory foam models compare?

Now it costs the same as a queen Contour5 with a list price of $2,999.

Saatva Loom and Leaf Memory Foam Mattress

This is the case across all sizes of the Loom & Leaf, and quite a significant increase.

Saatva also offers freeWhite Glove Deliverywith both beds.

But keep an eye out for Saatva sales, including our favorite 15% off sale.

Both feature Saatva’s dense, body-hugging memory foam core and both have integrated lumbar support.

So let’s explore the designs in detail.

Starting with the cover.

The cover features additional lumbar zone quilting which, along with the lumbar crown beneath, adds back support.

Beneath this is a layer of contouring cooling foam, followed by the high-density foam core.

Together these layers create the classic ‘hug’ foam feel.

The next layer is a transitional foam, available in two firmness levels.

Finally, a durable 5.5" foam base brings stability and longevity to the bed.

Next is a non-toxic flame barrier that covers every side of the mattress.

Underneath these initial layers sits the CoolVent System with Lumbar Zone PCM Matrix.

From our experience, this translates as medium-firm and firm.

For ourSaatva Loom & Leaf Mattress review, our testing panel slept on the Relaxed Firm model.

However, stomach sleepers, who benefit from a firmer support, should consider the Firm instead.

But if you prefer a sturdier support, opt for the Firm feel.

While the Contour5 yields to the body, this isn’t a mattress with excessive sink.

The supportive core (plus those upper support layers) ensure neutral spinal alignment to alleviate aches and pains.

Both beds also have excellentmotion isolation.

However, theedge supportwas middling in both designs.

Disappointing, as we awarded the flagship Saatva Classic 5/5 for edge support in ourSaatva Classic mattress review.

Contour5 features upgraded temperature regulation, including a layer of phase change material.

However, very hot sleepers might want to consider one of thebest cooling mattressesinstead.

Saatva Loom & Leaf vs Saatva Contour5 Mattress: which should you buy?

One tester described it as “luxurious”, although the thick cushioning won’t appeal to everyone.

You’ll only find it with the Loom & Leaf.
