And I do not say that lightly.
It’s the best show I’ve watched so far in 2025, without a question.
It’s not even a competition.
It’s easily ranked first.
What is Adolescence about?
This continues throughout the entire show.
Adolescence is a four-part series, and impressively reinvents itself multiple times across that trim episode count.
The finale returns to the Miller family to see the impact on them 13 months later.
All the episodes are impressive, but the second does feel a tad sluggish.
Its a little too removed from the meat of the story to justify its 60-minute length.
Its the weakest chapter but still valuable to the overall picture.
As for the other three episodes?
But the rest of the cast are no slouches either.
Theres not a bad performance in the bunch.
Its important to note that Adolescence isnt exactly anentertainingwatch.
This is a sobering, harrowing and often rather brutal watch, but its also vital.
Its the pop in of show that will leave your heart aching and your eyes stinging.
Ultimately, the Millers summon the strength to face a bleak world.
And right off the bat, Adolescence is earning serious critical acclaim.
As of writing, Adolescence holds a perfect 100% score onRotten Tomatoes.
It’s already earned a ‘Certified Fresh’ seal of approval.
This is not an easy watch…
This Netflix original completely blew me away.
Adolescence is a truly vital watch.
Few shows get this many elements spot on.
Thats a bold statement considering its only March, but thats the quality levels were talking about.
