Typing experience
The V8 Max is also a joy to bang out on.
Obviously, the Alice layout takes some getting used to if you havent used a similar board before.
However this layout is about ergonomics and comfort over speed, and typing on the V8 is extremely comfortable.
The battery life is also impressive.
The keyboard is also fully hot-swappable, allowing you to change switches freely.
It supports both 3 and 5 pin switches, encompassing the vast majority of switches.
Price
The V8 Max sits at a very reasonable $104 on the Keychron website.
The awkward wrist twist also undermines the boards ergonomic purpose.
In particular, I struggled to play more complex mil-sims and MMORPGs.
The layout isnt going to be for everyone.
For pure typing comfort, though, you cant do much better than the Keychron V8 Max.
