2. choose the pencil icon
This will open Quick Look and allow you to see the PDF.
To begin editing a PDF,hit the pencil icon.

Find a PDF

This should automatically open Preview unless there is another PDF viewer installed on your Mac.
Right-click a PDF
If Preview is not opening,right-smack the PDFandgo to Open With and Preview.
Either way, Quick Look and Preview quickly allow you to quickly get the job done.
1. snag the Text tool
tap the Text tool.
This looks like an A inside a box.
(In Preview, you’ve got the option to alsogo toTools, Annotate, and Text).
Check for Text
You should now see the wordTextappear on the screen.
This will allow you topick a different color.
Change the font
you’ve got the option to also change the font.
Again,click Aabut this time use the dropdown font menu topick the font you want to use.
Resize the text
The Aa menu also lets you resize the text.
Look for the box showing a number (and the abbreviation pt for point).
Thenclick the up and down arrows next to the number(or enter a number in the box).
Add styles
There are also options to bold, italicize or underline text.
Justclick B, I or U.
Tick the boxes
You canmark boxes using an X.
You will need to keep clicking the Text tool to add more text.
9. preserve your changes
Go to Fileandclick Save.
It’s very easy to do and you’re free to store a signature for future use.
Save or start over
Select Donewhen you’re finished to preserve your signature.
it’s possible for you to alsoclick Clear to start over.
You may want to draw an arrow to ensure something doesn’t get missed.
Whatever your reason, you caneasily create and add shapes to a PDF documentin Quick Look and Preview.
1. opt for Shapes tool
smack the Shapes iconin the toolbar.
You will also see a line and an arrow.
After doing so, the shape will appear on the screen.
Use the color tool
you’re able to thenuse the color toolto change the appearance of the shape.
Drag the shapes around
The shapes can be dragged around the PDF and placed in position.
If you are using an arrow,grab the dots at either end to lengthen and shortenit.
Zoom in
you could alsouse the magnifying optionin the Shapes menu.
Click it and you are able to make any text beneath it appear larger.
Select thumbnails
nudge the View Menu iconnext to the name of the PDF document andselect Thumbnails.
Drag thumbnails
The pages of the PDF will be shown down the left side of the Preview window.
You canrearrange them by clicking a thumbnail page and dragging it up and down.
Delete a page
you’re free to also remove a page.
Justclick on a thumbnail and press Deleteon the keyboard.
