But I can live without most of these features.
The biggest deal is that the iPhone 16e lacks an ultrawide camera for fitting in more of the scene.
And theres no macro mode, either, for great close-up shots.
I dont use the Action Button on myiPhone 15 Pro Maxfor anything but silencing the phone.
But both the iPhone 16e and iPhone 16 have this button forletting you set all sorts of shortcuts.
The Visual Intelligence feature on the iPhone 16 requires a separateCamera Controlbutton thats absent on the iPhone 16e.
This is a feature thats been available from Apple since theiPhone 12way back in 2020.
MagSafe makes it easy for you to attach supported iPhones to compatible docks and chargers using magnets.
And it also makes using your phone as an alarm clock easier with the Standby mode feature.
But for some reason Apple decided to ditch MagSafe for the iPhone 16e.
The wireless charging speed is slower, too.
The iPhone 16e maxes out at 7.5W, compared to 25W on the iPhone 16.
So best case scenario is that youll get the magnets but still slower speeds.
And I get the frustration, as this is a handy tool for keeping tabs on live updates.
But the bigger iPhone 16e vs iPhone 16 difference for me is the display brightness.
The iPhone 16 is rated for 1,000 nits of typical brightness and 1,600 nits when viewing HDR content.
And that goes up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness outdoors.
The only problem is that the iPhone 16es C1 modem doesnt support mmWave 5G networks.
Its only sub 6-GHz for this handset.
So youll get the fastest possible speeds on the iPhone 16.
