Nevertheless, Apple has promised the best battery life of any 6.1-inch phone with the iPhone 16e.

On that front, Apple has certainly delivered.
That was in line with average result we recorded previously with the iPhone 16.
However, when testing the iPhone 16e’s battery, we also reran our test on the iPhone 16.

As for comparisons with the iPhone 16e’s predecessor, there really isn’t one.
The iPhone 16e blows past that below-average result.
Samsung’sGalaxy S24 FEcosts $50 more than the iPhone 16e, with a starting price of $649.
Like the iPhone 16e, theOnePlus 13Rcosts $599.
That allows this midrange OnePlus unit to post a time of 18 hours and 49 minutes.
(That said, the iPhone 16e still supports wireless charging, albeit at very slow 7.5W speeds.)
The iPhone 16e may not be as inexpensive as the iPhone SE (2022) was.
But it lasts much longer on a charge.
And for a lot of people, that latter change will be the more important one.
