Im such a dirty traitor.
Up until just over a week ago, it was the best consumer GPU on the planet.

I want to cast it aside like it was a carton of expired (extremely expensive) milk.
And its all theRTX 5090s fault.
Shocking, I know.

Gen 4 ray tracing cores!
32GB of GDDR7 RAM!
Fifth generation tensor cores!

Latency-slaying Nvidia Reflex 2!
A ludicrous number of CUDA cores 21,760, up from the 4090s meagre 16,384.
Are you getting all hot and bothered yet?
Then theres the small matter of Multi-Frame Generation.
Now that the RTX 50-Series is upon us, those gains are even greater.
First World problems indeed.
Nvidias GPU is ably backed up by a powerful Intel Core Ultra 7 155H CPU and 16GB of RAM.
But act fast, we don’t know how long this ~$900 discount will last!
Not that you actually need an RTX 5090 orRTX 5080to enjoy Nvidias latest version of deep learning super sampling.
Sorry, did I say $1,999?
Thats the official MSRP.
Do yourself a favor, will you?
Dont look at what far too many scoundrels are trying to flog 5090s for on eBay.
Although that said, whats the going rate for a spleen these days?
And do I really need mine?
Unsurprisingly, the RTX 5090 is considerably more power-hungry than the 4090.
Will Team Green not think of my already skyrocketing electricity bills?!
Sorry for the dribble.
TakeNvidia ACEas a prime example.
Thats scary to me.
After all, Im hardly a budding eSports champ of the future.
Do I really need a graphics card that was designed with hardcore gamers who play on 240Hz monitors?
The GPU-obsessed heart wants what the heart wants, though.
Ive been in thrall to every new generation of Nvidia cards for over a decade at this point.
I dont see that habit changing anytime soon.
Actually, screw that.
All scalpers need to get in the sea.
For the meantime, I guess Ill just have to make do with my 4090.
Oh what a cruel world.
But hey, us RTX-30 and RTX-40 owners can still reap the benefits of DLSS 4, right?
Thats something at least.
