Before I get into the comparison, I want to briefly go over the hardware Im dealing with.
It also helps that theres more contrast in the iPhones shot.

In the second set of photos, I also like the iPhone 16 Pro Maxs brighter picture overall.
Take a look at the fresh produce shots in the first set of photos above.
Theres more definition to the petals, as well as the green leaf below the flower.

This is even more evident in the third set with the sprouting yellow flower.
I prefer the Galaxy S25 Ultras selfie shots more because of how Samsung’s phone better produces skin tones.
And finally, the third set has the better contrast and depth that makes the portrait photo pop.

When it comes to their performance, though, Apples much better at producing panoramas.
I will say, though, that the improved telephoto cameras draw out much more detail and sharpness.
