Over the past few months, theres been some big developments in integrated graphics from bothIntelandAMD.
And in just a few weeks, its looking likely that well see this go further.
The benchmarks ofAMDs leaked Strix Halo APUshows graphical capabilities that are actuallymorepowerful than the RTX 4060.
And even Apple is getting in on the party.
I meanCyberpunk 2077 is coming!
Dedicated to a niche
Im not saying there isnt a place for dedicated graphics cards.
Integrated graphics may be getting damn good, but theyre still a ways off.
Thats where I believe these cards will become more and more niche.
Its almost time for an Nvidia APU
So no, dedicated GPUs are not dead yet.
And in all honesty, I still think theres going to be a dedicated niche to the dedicated card.
(Did I say dedicated enough yet?)
ButNvidias not daft, and chances are the company has already been thinking about this.
The more I think about this inflection point, the more excited I get about the idea of it.
