Motion isolation is excellent and temperature regulation is very good.
Overall, we think the Helix Twilight will suit an admittedly niche market.

Like thebest hybrid mattresses, the Twilight has firmer foams and wrapped coils that are reinforced along the sides.
The intention is to create a mattress for side sleepers who prefer a firmer sleep surface.
Our main tester is a combination side/back sleeper with a lightweight build who prefers a firmer bed.
The Helix Twilight certainly delivers that we rate it an 8 out of 10 on the firmness scale.
It provides firm support with cushioning around the pressure points for side sleeping.
Despite the firmer feel, our lead tester didnt find the bed comfortable for back sleeping at all.

It’s not supportive enough at the hips for stomach sleeping, either.
Temperature regulation and motion isolation were both excellent on the Helix Twilight.
Overall, the Helix Twilight is a bit of a niche buy.
It’s suited to those who have a heavier build or just prefer a firmer sleep surface.

It’s topped with a breathable knit cover.
GlacioTex is a material more commonly found in thebest cooling mattresses.
Underneath the cover is a layer of high-density, copper gel-infused memory foam.
Copper is renowned for its ability to regulate temperature, and the memory foam helps alleviate pressure points.
Next up is a firm layer of Helixs proprietary Responsive Foam.
This cradles and contours to the body to give support where its needed.
Finally, a DuraDense foam base layer adds stability to the mattress and keeps the whole structure supported.

Our main testers husband can sleep on pretty much anything but also doesnt suffer with aches and pains.

Due to the firmer feel of the Helix Twilight, our testers didnt notice any motion transfer.
The glass remained stable after the 25 and 10 drops, with a slight wobble at 5 away.
This reflects our real-world experience the Helix Twilight does an excellent job of absorbing movement.
However, if you are a very hot sleeper, wed recommend upgrading to the GlacioTex cover.

The Helix Twilight is a mattress of two halves when it comes to edge support.
This is the same sinkage as you get in the middle of the bed.
However, its a different story at the head and foot of the bed.
The sinkage at these areas was 6.
When sitting on the end of the bed, our testers didnt feel particularly stable and secure.
Despite this, do remember torotate the mattressregularly to keep it in top condition and extend its lifespan.
All Helix mattresses come with a 100-night trial period, which is average.
Negative feedback comes from shoppers who find it too firm (or not firm enough).
Regardless of the outcome, most shoppers appreciate Helix’s quality of customer service.
Should you buy the Helix Twilight Mattress?

Take a look at our guide to thebest mattresses for stomach sleepersif that’s what you need.
The bed performed well in all our tests.
Edge support is strong along the sides but lacking at the head and foot.
(ThePlank Firm Mattressboasts excellent edge-to-edge support.)
Overall, the Helix Twilight is a high-quality mattress that will appeal to its niche market.
The bump from a 10-year warranty to lifetime coverage should offer greater peace of mind, too.
It performs similarly to the Twilight, but the Midnight is suited for back sleeping, as well.
