Thankfully Google Wallet is about to make that whole process a lot easier (viaAndroid Police).

Having a transit pass stored in Google Wallet allows the tap to ride system to kick in.

Thankfully Googles latest update will simplify the whole process.

Simply head into the Google Wallet and find thetransit passyou want to move.

Tap theThree dot menuin the top right and choose the optionMove card to another equipment.

TapOKwhen it asks if you want to deactivate the card.

From there youll need to open Google Wallet on the new gear and tapTransit passfollowed bytransit agency.

Youll then be given the option toTransfer an existing card to this phone.
