As weve previously reported,Microsoft is allegedly working with Asus to create an Xbox handheld.
The Steam Deck OLED (pictured above) is one of the few handhelds featuring an OLED display.
Its possible that this Asus machine could be the Xbox handheld.
We see four key upgrades, including more capacity, marathon stamina, faster speeds, and fresh look.
These are no doubt key aspects the new handheld will feature.

Here are 5 things I want to see in this new Asus Xbox handheld.
Right now, the only handhelds with an OLED panel are theSteam Deck OLEDandNintendo Switch OLED.
Combine that sharp resolution with an OLED panel, and youd have a handheld Id buy one day one.

The existing ROG Ally handhelds feature 7-inch displays.
Thats all well and good, but I want an 8-inch display for the new handheld.
Ive found thats the sweet spot of screen size and comfort.

A handheld with an 8-inch screen is more merciful on your hands.
That said, we can assume the Ryzen Z2 and Ryzen Z2 Extreme will be the most likely candidates.
I wouldnt be upset if the new system remained largely the same.
The original Asus ROG Ally has a comfortable design.
Rubberized grips like the ones on theXbox Elite Wireless controllerwould make the handheld easier to hold.
Lastly, lowering the face buttons so theyre not so high up would be great.
The question is, whats a reasonable expectation for battery life?
The Asus ROG Ally X lasted for 3 hours and 4 minutes in our battery test.
Anyway, those are some of the things Id like to see for this Asus Xbox handheld.
