According to the image, Apple is going to launch an 18.8-inch foldable “tablet/note PC/monitor.”
This giant unit is supposed to feature an OLED display with LTPO TFT, and TSP on TFE.
This all suggests a thin, dynamic display that can also fold.
At the time, it was rumored that a large folding Apple gear wouldn’t arrive until 2027.
According to the leaked roadmap, OLED displays on other iPads and MacBooks will start arriving in 2026.
Both of those still feature Liquid Retina LCD display.
The MacBook Air isn’t tipped to get an OLED until 2028 according to the map.
It gives the impression of the same pop in of display that will feature on the MacBook Pro.
This roadmap comes from an analyst firm Omdia, so it’s not guaranteed.
